Frequently asked questions

Will my Panelhome kit house all look the same?

Not at all – that’s the beauty of our system. While the structural panels are consistent in quality, the design of each home is completely up to you. As you can see in our gallery, Panelhome kits have been used for many different styles: modern, rustic, minimalist, traditional – you name it. The panels form the structure and insulation, but you choose the layout and all the finishing touches (roof style, exterior cladding, colours, fixtures). Two Panelhome houses can look totally different from one another.

Can I visit any of these homes in person?

We understand seeing is believing! While we don’t have open display homes (since many are private residences), we occasionally arrange open house days or can connect you with an owner-builder willing to show their Panelhome. Contact us to enquire about possible visits or upcoming demonstration events. In the meantime, our gallery images and case studies provide detailed insight into completed projects.

What sizes or types of homes can Panelhome build?

We can supply panels for virtually any size or type of home – from a small 1-room studio up to large family homes or even multi-storey buildings. Our system is modular and engineered for strength, so it scales to your needs. If you have a specific size or multi-level design in mind, we will work with our engineers to ensure the panels meet all structural requirements. There’s really no standard “too big” or “too small” – flexibility is a key advantage of building with Panelhome.

Do the homes in the gallery use additional structure or just the panels?

All the homes shown rely on our SIP panels for their primary structure.

Can I customise one of the designs I see in the gallery?

Yes, you can use any of the gallery homes as a starting point for your own design. If you see a layout or style you like, we can adjust room configurations, size, and features to better suit your needs or land. Alternatively, we can mix and match elements from different examples. Our goal is to deliver your dream home, so feel free to point out what you like and we’ll tailor a solution using our panels.
