Do I need a planning permit in Victoria?
In standard residential zones, a secondary dwelling up to 60 square metres generally does not require a planning permit. A building permit is still required. Heritage or environmental overlays may require planning permits — check your property's planning scheme.
What is the maximum size without a planning permit?
